A 35-year-old father of four, caught in bed with another man,
in Ibadan, is now on the run for his dear life as his family
has allegedly disowned and set up a manhunt for him.
Mr Olutoyin Osibodu, once respected in his Bodija neighbourhood
in Ibadan, Oyo State, was said to have suddenly become a source
of ridicule when it became public knowledge that he was a
bisexual.

For that reason, his family drew a battle line, for according
to his elder brother, Mr Abiodun Osibodu, "it is a path
rarely travelled by our family members".
At 35 years, his love life could pass for a fairytale told
in astounding and intriguing, tear-jerking film with intricate
plots.
Sex at a party
Olutoyin, who had all his children out of wedlock once lived
in Makinde Street, an outskirt of Ibadan. Neighbours said
he loved life and lived it to a hilt. However, he first got
his fingers burnt sometime in March last year, when he was
caught at a night party making love to a younger man aged
between 25 and 27.
According to Abiodun, while the younger man escaped unhurt,
Olutoyin was set free after being beaten to an inch of his
life.
"He was in and out of hospital for most of last year
following injuries inflicted on him",
he revealed. He told Saturday Sun that the family had held
several meetings aimed at making his brother see reason and
quit his strange behaviour to no avail. "We are really
worried about the whole thing", he said, pointing out
that at a stage Olutoyin stopped visiting him.
In January this year, according to Abiodun, the family was
jolted when the lid of Olutoyin’s romantic liaison with
another young man simply identified as Kayode was blown off.
With tearsdripping from his cheeks, Abiodun told Saturday
Sun: "We are still in shock and feel embarrassed".
He stressed that Olutoyin's behaviour was strange, as according
to him, "we suspect he is under some strange influences".
Refused to marry
“We have tried to convince him to settle down in marriage,
but failed. His children came from three live-in-lovers and
we could not understand why none of the women met his expectation
for a wife. One of the women, Shade, loved him so much that
when she was moving her things out of his house, she wept
uncontrollably. There was nothing we could do. Olutoyin always
had his way", an obviously confused Abiodun told Saturday
Sun.
Disappearance
Like a cat with nine lives, Olutoyin played a fast one on
his relatives who had concluded plans during a family meeting
to not only arrest him, but also teach him a lesson for bringing
shame to the family. In the cloak of darkness, he escaped
with his children just before his relatives arrived at dawn.
The Search Continues
Abiodun told Saturday Sun that the family would pay anything
to arrest him. “The problem needs to be sorted out now.
We can no longer fold our hands, not when his behaviour is
dragging the name of the family in the mud." He added
that, "there is always a way to handle those who behave
strangely or bring shame to the family”.
