UK court jails Arsenal's ex-official, Adeniran
THE Southwark Crown Court yesterday in London sentenced Nigeria's Ademola Adeniran, a former security manager at Arsenal Football Club Stadium, to a three-and-a-half year jail term for running a fake passport racket.
The prosecutors had told the court how the 39 -year old illegal immigrant was arrested in a surveillance operation by the Metropolitan Police's special squad, Operation Maxim, at his Hackney home, East London, in August 2005.
He was said to have been found with more than 100 fake Nigerian and South African passports when his house was raided last summer.
