The Eagles are billed to play against Egypt and Sudan in Spain, as part of Nigeria’s build-up to next year’s Nations Cup in Ghana.

According to the NFA spokesman, Ademola Olajire, the Super Eagles will tackle Egypt on January 8.

They will play the Sudan four days later to test their readiness for the Nations Cup.

“We are delighted to have reached an agreement on the two games,” Olajire told the British Broadcasting Corporation.

“Coach Berti Vogts has been keen on playing against African opposition before the Nations Cup.

“We are in a very crucial group and so need to prepare very well.”

Nigeria is drawn in a tough first round group for the tournament alongside Cote d’Ivoire, Mali and Benin.

The Eagles, expected to open training camp in Malaga on January 3, will face Australia on November 17 in London and Switzerland four days later as part of the preparation for the 2008 Nations Cup.
