He is married but I want him too

I am 31 and I am in love with a married man who has agreed to make me his second wife. Though I accepted his proposal, I made him realise that I wanted court wedding. This was because I knew that I could not wed in church and his wife still lives with him. So, what do I do?

It is even illegal to get married to the man in the registry if an existing marriage took place there. So, what is the assurance that he would not get married to a third wife after you? I am sure that was why you insisted on a legal wedding so as to avoid whatever is happening to the first wife. You seem to have forgotten that making a decision to have another woman's husband is equal to another woman having your husband in future. As you go ahead with your plans, make provisions for your rival that will pack in sooner than later. Why? You are getting married to an African polygamist.
