Shooting Stars coach Fatai Amoo on Thursday came under intense pressure to save the Ibadan Premier League club from relegation.

3SC are languishing in the relegation zone after picking up 12 points from the 12 matches played so far in the season and Amoo's job could be under threat as the club's stakeholders have expressed their dissatisfaction with the position of the team in the league table.

Although, 3SC have only lost only four times in the 12 matches, their progress has been hampered by six draws and only two wins this season. Their last victory was against Rivers United at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on February 5.

At a meeting of stakeholders meeting held at the Oyo State Football Association office on Wednesday evening, it was also unanimously agreed that the club needed improved financing from the state government to meet players' demands and the satisfaction of the coaches, headed by Amoo.

At the meeting were the state Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Yomi Oke, members of the Oyo State Sports Council, management of 3SC and the supporters' club representatives.

A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting also warned the fans to desist from actions capable of earning the club a punishment from the League Management Company.

It however urged them not to stop supporting the club, despite their current position in the league.

The meeting also resolved to call for a four-day prayer for the club by fans in order to save 3SC from doom.
